Nano-Hydroxyapatite (nHAp) is a synthetic form of the mineral that makes up 97% of your tooth enamel. Originally developed by NASA in the 1970s to help astronauts restore bone and tooth loss, nHAp works by filling micro-cracks and gaps in enamel — literally rebuilding your teeth from the surface down.
It's been used in Japanese dentistry since 1980, and is now recognised as one of the most effective remineralising agents in oral care. Our SWIFT™ toothgels use a 10% concentration, which research suggests is optimal for enamel repair.
Most conventional toothpastes focus on cleaning and freshening. The SWIFT™ toothgels are formulated to actively remineralise enamel, repair early damage, and support long-term tooth strength — not just clean the surface.
They combine 10% Nano-Hydroxyapatite with Fluoride for a dual-action approach to cavity prevention and enamel repair, and come in fun flavours that make brushing something you'll actually look forward to.
Together, they offer complementary protection. Nano-Hydroxyapatite physically fills and remineralises enamel by depositing calcium directly onto tooth surfaces. Fluoride strengthens the enamel structure and makes it more resistant to acid attacks from bacteria and food.
Research shows this combination provides superior cavity protection compared to either ingredient alone — giving you the best of both worlds.
The Swift™ EGGSTRA gel uses a nature-inspired form of nHAp derived from eggshells — a rich, sustainable source of calcium carbonate that is converted into bioavailable hydroxyapatite. It's a family-friendly formula suitable for ages 2 and above, offering the same remineralising benefits in a gentle Velvet Mint flavour.
Yes — the Swift™ EGGSTRA 10% Eggshell Nano-Hydroxyapatite Toothgel is specifically formulated for the whole family, including children aged 2 and up. It's gentle, effective, and comes in a mild Velvet Mint flavour that kids enjoy.
As with any toothpaste, children under 6 should use only a pea-sized amount and be supervised during brushing to avoid swallowing.
The Swift Renew & Repair Gel is Australia's first 3-in-1 oral care system designed to tackle three common concerns in a single formula: tooth sensitivity, dry mouth, and enamel support. It's ideal for people who experience discomfort from hot, cold, or sweet foods, or who have dry mouth from medication or other causes.
The device uses two clinically targeted wavelengths:
- 660nm Red Light — targets surface gum tissue, supports healing, and has selective antibacterial properties through photodynamic action.
- 850nm Near-Infrared Light — penetrates deeper into tissue to modulate pain, support bone health, and reduce inflammation at a cellular level.
With 32 LEDs, it delivers consistent full-mouth photon coverage in every session.
Yes. Photobiomodulation (PBM) at these wavelengths is non-thermal — it does not heat or damage tissue. The device is designed specifically for safe at-home daily use. It does not use UV light and will not harm your teeth, gums, or surrounding tissue when used as directed.
If you have a specific medical condition or are undergoing dental treatment, we always recommend checking with your dental professional first.
Use it exactly like a regular toothpaste:
- Apply a pea-sized amount to a soft-bristled toothbrush.
- Brush for 2 minutes, covering all surfaces — outer, inner, and chewing surfaces.
- Spit out after brushing. For maximum remineralisation, avoid rinsing with water immediately after — letting the gel sit on your teeth for a few minutes gives the nHAp more time to bind to the enamel.
Twice daily — morning and night — is recommended for best results. Consistency is key with remineralising products: the more regularly the nHAp comes into contact with your enamel, the more effectively it can repair and strengthen over time.
The toothgels are not intended to be swallowed. Adults and children over 6 should spit after brushing. Children under 6 should be supervised during use and only use a pea-sized amount to minimise the risk of ingestion. Because the gels contain fluoride, it's important not to swallow large amounts.
Using the device is simple:
- Position — Hold the device at the gum line or the area you want to treat. No need to press hard; gentle contact is fine.
- Activate — Turn on the device. The red and near-infrared LEDs will emit light that penetrates the gum tissue.
- Treat — Move slowly around the mouth, spending a few seconds on each area. Focus on any areas of sensitivity, inflammation, or concern.
- Repeat — Use daily for progressive, cumulative benefits.
Most people see benefits with 3–5 minutes of daily use. You can treat the full mouth in a single session by slowly moving the device around. For best results, use consistently every day — benefits from photobiomodulation are cumulative and build progressively with regular sessions.
Absolutely — they complement each other beautifully. A suggested routine:
- Brush with your SWIFT™ toothgel for 2 minutes.
- Spit but don't rinse — let the nHAp continue working.
- Use the red light therapy device for 3–5 minutes while the gel is still on your teeth.
This layered approach means you're supporting remineralisation and reducing gum inflammation at the same time.
Apply a small amount to your toothbrush or directly to the affected area and brush as normal. It can be used as your primary toothpaste morning and night. For sensitivity relief, you can also apply a thin layer to sensitive areas and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing — this gives the active ingredients more contact time with the enamel and dentin.
